hiking inspired art

I've been diligent about taking a hike nearly every week this winter, so different from hiking during the other seasons but lovely and inspiring in different ways.

I nearly always encounter red squirrels in the woods (and in our own yard of course) along with chickadees, woodpeckers, crows, and hawks. When there is freshly fallen snow, there is the added treat of finding many types of animal tracks even if you don't get to see the actual animal.

Whenever I'm on an extra long hike, I always think to myself how nice it would be to be able to get a nice hot cup of espresso, not that I want the woods to be cluttered with cafes, but wouldn't be great to stumble upon one run by squirrels?
