watercolor break

I was realizing a few days ago that I hadn't worked in watercolors in a very long time and was missing it. Finally found some inspiration - I often peruse my collection of college annuals for interesting faces and names.  In a 1945 yearbook I was struck by how popular certain names were - Dorothy and Jean being the top contenders - followed up by Helen and Antoinette.  Here are a couple of pieces as a result of my exploring.
