Revisiting the past.

My husband, Matte came across these photos today, they were taken in 2005 by our friend and photographer, Jason Hamric.  A good reminder that I need to keep my sense of fun !

Matte in a bunny head, me seated with Krasner (just a kitten here!) in my lap.

Another pose, with large cup of coffee and a ukelele that I never learned to play.

Running!  There are a few more from this day, if I can locate them, I'll add them later.

I can't tell you how happy I am that I did not miss this post!!!!! You both are awesome!!!

Is that your house? If it is, the style of it does not surprise me one bit from what I have seen of your fun art work with it's retro look. Wonderful!!!

Thank you Sheila & Lisa! This is from 2005 when we lived in Birmingham, AL. From there we went to Portland, Oregon for a few years, then to NY state for less than a year and now finally permanently settled in New Hampshire :)

So fun and quirky. That dress is so cute... wish I had your teeny tiny waist!

Thank you Brenda! My waist is at least 3 inches thicker now, that dress got passed along, tired of feeling tortured :)

I have to know! What was the occasion of these photos? Anything special or just another day for you guys? I love how natural they are, despite the hilarity. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on the bookstore post, too.

Thank you for commenting Lari! They were for a window displays when we lived in Birmingham, AL in 2005. A lot of downtown spaces were allowing artists to do all sorts of fun exhibits in empty storefronts.

Just what I needed on a particularly mind numbing Friday afternoon in the office.
