All kinds of inspiration lately

I was so excited for the new season of Downton Abbey to begin this week, I watched the season premiere twice (so far) and am already eagerly anticipating next week's episode :)  All the gowns were so inspiring, I decided to paint some of my own.

Then I finished reading a book about the late Isabella Blow and designed a spring costume for her. I was so in green mode, I forgot to give her the signature red lipstick.

and finally this one has been on my mind for quite some time, inspired by a poem, Balloons by Sylvia Plath, 

I hope these pieces cheer the winter doldrums :)
