Serendipitous Sue

I don't know if I have ever chosen to work from the photo of a person who was still alive before.  Painting unknown or people who are no longer living relieves a lot of the pressures but I was so inspired by a photo of a friend that I just had to paint her (with her permission of course!)   I only hope I was able to capture her true beauty.
