This is the largest watercolor painting I've done so far, 15.5 x 22.5 and it was a lot of fun. I kept thinking of one of my favorite poems of all time by Amy Lowell called Patterns. The lines that kept running through my head were "I too am a rare Pattern. As I wander down the Garden paths."

I am going to have to google that poem how beautiful. The dresses they are wearing are just dreamy I love the one with bows, I want one like it and wear it in a enchanted garden. Now I'm daydreaming :)
Thanks Heather! Unfortunately the poem is pretty tragic and sad but extremely beautiful. I used to have it memorized.
