I didn't sleep well last night and can't even attempt to guess the date of the photo, Betty Jane is front and center in this shot, obviously the star of this recital. The letter is from 1932 from a former teacher, Gertrude Colburn. I admit it, the letter brought tears to my eyes.

How sweet! Was the picture enclosed with the letter? I wonder why the teacher didn't keep it?
The photo was not in with the letter, I just think it was probably close to that time period.
