Drink Your Juice collage

Another piece for inspired by childhood memories for the theme of the week on www.scrapiteria.blogspot.com. I was a super picky eater and underweight as a child and my parents had the idea that one large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice (with lots of pulp) was essential to my nutrition. I was not allowed to go anywhere or to do anything until that glass was empty. Some times it took almost an hour for me to get it all down, it was torture! If I had a friend spend the night, I would make them drink it for me. I still don't like orange juice but LOVE grapefruit juice :)

Grapefruit Juice. I could write a poem about that drink, I love it so much. "Ode to grapefruit juice"... Right now my favorite is actually Grapefruit Juice cocktail because they discontinued my favorite 100% juice a year ago (Tropicana Sweet Red Grapefruit) I actually did a painting of a cup of the juice last month on the 1 year anniversary of when my grocery store stopped carrying it. Yes, I am THAT pathetic!
