The last to leave the nest.
Nearly all summer I've been watching an osprey family (2 parents & 3 youngsters) via a live webcam in Bremen, Maine from when they hatched until they left for South America. This is Pia - the last youngster to hatch, fledge and finally migrate. After watching their progress daily, I'm afraid I'm suffering a bit from empty nest syndrome.
